Annual Part-time Course Exhibition Set To Attract Thousands of Course Seekers this weekend

Which Course Expo 2015 – Dublin’s only dedicated adult learning fair – is to return to the RDS this weekend.

The annual event, which is free of charge to the general public, will feature course providers from the Greater Dublin are and beyond, showcasing part-time courses of all descriptions for those wishing to enrol in courses this Autumn. The event will also feature a weekend of seminars and talks about adult learning and a ‘Careers Clinic’, where attendees can receive one-to-one advice from qualified career coaches – all free of charge.

It is the 8th year that Which Course Expo has run, with the event organisers expecting up to 8,000 course-seekers to attend over the two days.

Among the educational providers showcasing their part-time courses and programmes at Which Course Expo 2015 will be: Irish Payroll Association (IPASS), National College of Ireland, Hibernia College, Innopharma Labs, City Colleges, Dorset College, DCU Connected, College of Progressive Education, University College – Adult & Continuing Education, Solas eCollege, Emergency Services Training Institute, Ashfield College, LA College of Creative Arts, Athena College, The Gaiety College of Acting, IICP Education & Training, East Coast Academy, Nightcourses.com, Fingal Counselling Services, Irish College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Gael Linn, The Centre for Personal & Management Coaching, The Radio & DJ Schools, Irish Education Partnership, Coogan Bergin, New Links Training, Litton Lane, Centre for Professional & Personal Development, Colaiste Dhulaigh College of Further Education, Finglas Training Centre, ECM College, Pilates Performance Ireland, Hi-Tech Training, Motions Health & Fitness, Dublin Business School, FIT Ltd, Saor Ollscoil na hÉireann, Citizens’ Information, The Digital Skills Academy, Sallynoggin College of Further Education, Ballsbridge College of Further Education, Irish Association of Holistic Medicine, The College of Five Element Acupuncture.

Which Course Expo 2015 will also cater for those wishing to pursue further learning at their own pace and on their own terms, with the presence of distance learning providers olas eCollege and DCU Connected.

In addition, the event will feature the Seminar Zone, with talks from guest speakers and course providers taking place over the weekend. Well-known speakers will include celebrity solicitor Gerald Kean, columnist Amanda Brunker, broadcaster Adrian Kennedy and actor Pat Nolan (Fair City’s Barry O’ Hanlon). Meanwhile, John O’Keeffe will present a talk on “Psychopaths – The Psychology of the Damned”, while the Sunday World’s Investigations Editor, Nicola Tallant will speak on “Crime & Journalism – Into the heart of Darkness.

Exhibition Organiser, Bronagh Cotter, said, “We’re expecting this weekend’s event to the biggest and best to date. There has been big growth in interest in part-time courses this year compared to the last number of years and we’re certainly seeing that in the level of interest in the Expo.
